A HOUSING support and care at home service operated by Fife Council has been awarded top marks after a visit from the Care Inspectorate.

The social care regulator awarded grades of excellent across the board for the second inspection in a row following an unannounced inspection last month.

It noted that “the people who use this service were able to make the most of the opportunities available to them to achieve their personal outcomes”, adding “there was very positive feedback from the people using the service”.

The service provides a combined housing support and care at home service to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and to other vulnerable adults, and is provided 24 hours a day to people in their own tenancies.
