Pudsey Bear, mascot of BBC Children in Need Appeal, visited Dunfermline today to meet youngsters taking part in the Alhambra Theatre Summer School ahead of them taking to the big stage.
Over 120 local children, aged from 8-18, will be performing in three shows over the next two days as the culmination of their two week course where they have been learning skills in acting, singing and dancing.
Claire Fletcher, PR Manager for the Alhambra Theatre said, “The Alhambra Theatre Summer School children were delighted to have a visit from Pudsey the Bear and be able to donate to such a fantastic and worthwhile cause.” The shows take place tonight at 7.30pm and tomorrow at 2.30pm and 7.30pm with the stars of tomorrow covering excerpts from four of the biggest touring musicals, ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Wicked’, ‘Evita’ and ‘Annie’.
