POLICE are appealing for information surrounding a hit an run on the A985 near to Limekilns on Friday.
Dunfermline Police tweeted earlier this morning that a white van had collided with a cyclist around 10:10am on the 29th August.
As a result of the incident the white van was missing glass from its mirror.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said, "We received a call around 10:05am on 29th August.
“Officers attended the scene on the A985 near to Limekilns.
“A white van had collided with a cyclist – clipping them with the van's wing mirror and failing to stop.
“As a result the cyclist suffered superficial injuries – some cuts and bruises.
“The cyclists was taken to hospital to be fully checked over.” Anyone with information is being asked to call 101.
