ONE of Scotland’s best-loved bands of recent years Texas have just announced they will be coming to the Alhambra as part of a tour to celebrate 25 years of making hits.
Fronted by Sharleen Spiteri, Texas have produced some of the most memorable Scottish songs over the past three decades and are still going strong.
An Evening with Texas is described as “Sharleen performing the very best of the Texas songs and stories from the last 25 years”.
The band came together in Glasgow in the late ‘80s and enjoyed major chart success with tracks such as ‘I Don’t Want a Lover’, ‘Thrill Has Gone’ and ‘Everyday Now’ from the debut album ‘Southside’.
They come to the Alhambra on 24th April and tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am.
