DALGETY Bay Post Office will only be closed for two-weeks due to renovations.

Gordon Brown had said initially the re-vamp would take a month.

The post office will be closed from 5.30pm on the 21st October and is hoping to reopen 4th November but currently set for opening the 6th November.

The renovations to the branch will see service being provided from three counters, an open-plan position, a screened position and a combi-counter.

Customers will also be able to access a wide range of Post Office and mail services including international parcels, special delivery, local collect and home shopping returns.

The Post Office service's hours will also be extended after re-opening as the times change to 9am to 5.30pm Monday through to Saturday.
