FORMER Prime Minister Gordon Brown is set to make his future clear in a speech next week amid speculation that he will be resigning as an MP.
There have been reports that the Labour MP will stand down, quitting at the General Election in May, and the Press understands that the 63-year-old will make his future plain in a speech at his constituency forum social event on Monday.
Mr Brown was heavily involved in the Scottish independence referendum campaign but speculation this week has suggested that he is now ready to leave the forefront of politics after serving as an MP in West Fife for 31 years.
The event takes place at 7pm on Monday 1st December at the Kirkcaldy Old Kirk, Hendry Road, Kirkcaldy.
