The flypast was watched by a large crowd of spectators, including a group of kids on a school trip and national media, as they all gathered at the Forth Bridges Education and Contact Centre in South Queensferry.
The Press went along to the flypast which celebrated an incredible moment from the iconic sculpture's history when it was at the centre of the German Luftwaffe's first raid over British soil.
The week-long 125th anniversary of the bridge's opening, which was on 4th March 1890, started on Sunday when hundreds of fundraisers raised around £123k while abseiling off the bridge.
