WORK to increase parking provision at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy by 117 spaces has been completed.

The new parking bays in Car Park F, which includes three blue badge spaces, opened on Monday and are located to the western side of the hospital campus, with access gained from Lauder Road.

The latest project began last spring and adds to the 198 additional spaces that were created last year.

Jim Leiper, NHS Fife’s drector of estates, facilities and capital services, said, “The completion of Car Park F should help to improve parking options around the hospital site and the addition of blue badge spaces will also provide greater ease of access for those patients who need it most.

“We have worked hard to ensure that the works have caused minimal disruption to patients and visitors and I would like to offer my thanks for the patience shown throughout the duration of the works.”
