THE campsite at T in the Park is gearing up to cope with 65,000 music fans next weekend with three entertainment zones for them to enjoy.

Boom Town will host the Cabaret Voltaire Boombus, a converted double decker, and will be manned by DJs from the Edinburgh club from 6pm to 2am on Thursday 9th July and 10pm to 2am the next three nights.

It will also house the Healthy T Campsite shop, with a range of fresh salads and pasta bowls, while the Red Bull Lock In area will have guest DJs pumping out tunes from a restored 1950s Swedish military vehicle, the Volvo Sugga.

The Sunset Strip in the campsite will have the Silent Disco – where revellers can don a pair of wireless headphones and dance away while not a sound is heard from outside the tent – and the new A-listed Indie Disco after hours.

It will run from 6pm to midnight on the Thursday and from 10pm to 2am the next three nights, while there"s a chance to get your picture taken in your fancy dress finery with a Fancy Dress Friday Silent Disco from 2 to 5pm.

The Thursday night campsite cinema screen also returns with festival-goers asked to vote for their favourites.

In the main arena, Domino"s Pizza will be on-site for the first time while the VisitScotland Dome will have an inflatable snowboard simulator, a chill-out area and some Scottish short films to enjoy.

The Eco Village will have Global Cool, to promote environmentally friendly schemes and there will be a double decker bus to encourage festival goers to "Do it in Public".

It"s designed to encourage people to use public transport and T in the Parkers will be enticed to create a moving canvas by drawing directly on the outside of the bus, playing travel games and competing to be the festival"s Jenga champ.

The Prince"s Rainforests Project was set up in 2007 by HRH the Prince of Wales to promote awareness of the urgent need to take action against tropical deforestation. They will be asking for support at T in the Park.

The Charity Village will have over 15 charities this year with a range of activities also on offer.
