CELTIC-daft rocker Sir Rod Stewart has been snapped waiting to see the Pope with his wife Penny Lancaster in the Vatican City.
The couple attended Pope Francis’ weekly general audience in St. Peter’s Square on Wednesday morning.

Penny, 47, also shared a snap of her and her other half eagerly-awaiting the Pope’s arrival on Instagram.
She wrote: “Waiting for the Pope to arrive.”
The couple is currently holidaying in Rome. Posting an image of the pair on their room balcony in the sun, Penny said on her social media: “When in Rome one makes the most of ones small balcony #samedelmanshoes.”
The couple’s trip comes just days after huge Celtic fan Sir Rod, 73, celebrated his team’s double treble success in the Scottish Cup Final on Saturday.
Penny shared an image of her husband in front of a row of Hoops flags, writing: “Very happy husband after the double, treble win at the weekend.”
