Police are to step up patrols in Crossford after a man exposed himself in the village park.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which took place in King George V Park around 3.10pm yesterday (Thursday).

The man was last seen shortly after leaving the park through the Katrine Drive exit.

Police are now looking to trace the man and are appealing to the public for information. He is described as wearing blue jeans and a black top.

Community officers will be conducting extra patrols around the area in the coming days and there will be a heightened police presence in and around the park.

Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh, of Dunfermline CID, said:  “This is a distressing incident and we are eager the trace the man involved as soon as possible.

“We will be undertaking extra patrols in King George V Park in order to provide community reassurance. 

"Members of the public should expect to see officers in and around the park in the coming days.

“Anyone who was in the park on Thursday at around 3pm, and has information that can assist us, is asked to get in touch.”
