CROSSFORD Children's Gala is getting ready to rock the Glen Pavilion to raise the funds needed to keep the annual fun day alive.

And it's sure to be a blast with local favourites Stevie Agnew and Shamanic performing in an exclusive live music night on Saturday November 12.

Steven Lilly, interim chair of the gala committee, said: "It’s amazing for Crossford Children’s Gala to have such fantastic local talent on board to help us raise funds to keep our events going.

"Stevie Agnew and Shamanic are hugely popular across the central Scotland area and to have them both perform in the same venue on the same night is truly unique – this is going to be a huge night!

"And the best bit is that, after costs are covered, all the profits will go towards ensuring local children have exciting events to look forward to over the next year. So please get your tickets now to support us!"

The committee are looking forward to tonight's fireworks display in King George V Park in Crossford.

The fun starts from 6pm with a lantern competition at 6.30pm, food and drink stalls, rides and the fantastic fireworks display at 7.30pm.

Neons will be on sale at the best prices from gala committee members within the park itself, and all the profits will go straight into their gala funds.

Doors open at 7.30pm for the live night of music on Saturday November 12.

Tickets can be bought for £10 online at: www.crossfordgala.co.uk/stevie, or from the Crossford Co-op, Crossford Post Office, The Adamson Hotel, The City Hotel and The Glen Tavern.
