A 49-YEAR-OLD MAN was injured after falling 20 feet onto rocks at Aberdour yesterday (Wednesday).
Emergency services rushed to the Forth View Hotel at Hawkcraig Point after being alerted around 8.15pm.
South Queensferry and Kinghorn coastguard rescue teams recovered the man and fire crews helped stabilise him and administered oxygen until the paramedics arrived.
The man was then transported onto a stretcher and taken to a waiting ambulance.
Police Scotland confirmed the man had hurt his back after it took the impact in the fall, but was not seriously injured.
The cliffs next to the hotel are a popular spot for rock-climbers. However, it's not been confirmed if the man fell while climbing, or if he was taken to hospital.
