PASSENGERS are being offered a unique sightseeing tour of Fife this weekend with a classic steam train excursion around the area.
The Forth Circle Steam Special will feature a journey across the Forth Bridge before travelling along the north shore of the Firth of Forth. The scenic route will see the train pass through Aberdour, Kinghorn and Kirkcaldy before turning to Dunfermline and following the shore past Culross.
Passengers will enjoy views of the Ochil hills and Stirling Castle as the train heads west before returning to Linlithgow.
The two trips will take place on Sunday 14th September, with a morning ride that begins at Linlithgow and an afternoon adventure where passengers can join at Dalmeny or Inverkeithing. The journey lasts about four hours and costs £59 for a standard fare (child £45) or £89 for first class.
