WEST Fifers are being advised of road closures and parking restrictions ahead of the Forth Road Bridge's 50th birthday celebrations on Saturday 13th September.
Southbound traffic will be restricted to a single lane from 7pm for the torchlight procession across the bridge.
The bridge will then close completely between 10-10.30pm for the fireworks display finale to be launched.
North Queensferry residents and businesses will be permitted access but not via Ferryhill Road, while on the other side of the river, local parking in South Queensferry will be suspended from noon, with the High Street closed to traffic from 2pm.
Those planning journeys via the bridge or travelling to or from North and South Queensferry are advised to check www.trafficscotland.org for details of road closures.
