COMMUTERS using the A985 between Cairneyhill and Kincardine face disruption next week as roadworks are set to take place.
Resurfacing work is set to begin on Monday and continue until Saturday 1st November with the road closing to traffic from 8pm-6am each night and Stagecoach services between the two villages will be affected.
Services X24, X26 and X27 will be diverted via the A907 while the A985 is closed and will be unable to serve Crossford, Cairneyhill or Westfield outside Kincardine. Stagecoach are advising passengers on these dates to make connections to Dunfermline Bus Station or Kincardine High Street but have confirmed that local routes 8, 8A, 9 and F15 will still operate as normal.
