WEST Fife rail commuters face severe disruptions on the Fife Circle line this afternoon (Thursday), Scotrail has warned.
Due to signalling problems between Inverkeithing and Kirkcaldy, train services between Edinburgh and West Fife, as well as Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes, may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Currently 18 services are affected and the disruption is expected to last until 2pm.
Several trains are already running behind schedule, with a number expected to arrive an hour or more late.
Replacement buses are being laid on between Inverkeithing and Kirkcaldy, and customers at Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly, Cardenden and Glenrothes are being asked to use the help points on the platform for information.
