WEST Fifers are being urged to be prepared for ice and wind after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for Thursday and Friday.
Frequent showers are expected tonight (Wednesday), turning increasingly wintry over higher ground, and motorists should take extra care as icy stretches could form on roads.
Very strong westerly winds are expected to hit much of Scotland on Thursday night and Friday morning, with gusts of 60-70mph.
West Fifers are warned that there could be potential for disruption to transport and power supplies.
