THE Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for Fife tomorrow (Friday), with winds of up to 80mph expected to batter the Kingdom.
West Fifers are being warned to be prepared for the potential of disruption to transport, with the Forth Road Bridge closed completely during the morning peak period, including to pedestrians and cyclists.
The public is advised to check the latest forecasts before travelling. Power supplies may also be affected and there is the possibility of structural damage.
Winds are expected to ease during Friday morning, but may still remain potentially disruptive into the rush hour.
