A KELTY girl got her long locks chopped off for the Little Princess Trust on Saturday at Glam Studios in Dunfermline’s Chapel Street.

Shannon Amos (nine), of Glengask Grove, who featured in the Press last week, decided a couple of weeks ago to cut her hair short and give it to the children’s wig charity.

The Kelty Primary School pupil’s mum Lisa Amos (31) said that Shannon wasn’t keen on having her hair cut too short until she knew about the charity.

She said, “Shannon said that she wanted to give some hair to someone who doesn’t have any.

“We are so proud of her for doing this!”
