This blog should have appeared in April but it didn't due to technical reasons. Our sincere apologies to Popsi - Press deputy editor.
On 28th March it was the birthday of Adam, my eldest brother. He was 17. For his special birthday dinner he chose to have a Chinese banquet takeaway. Because he was 17 he got some driving lessons. It was quite exciting to see Adam go outside and sit in the car next to his instructor. He goes nearly once every week.
On Saturday 4th April we watched the Grand National on the television. My dad printed out all of the names of the horses in the race and then mixed them up in a bowl.
Everyone in my family picked two names out of the bowl. If their horse won the race the deal was that the winner would get a whole tub of chunky monkey ice cream from the chip shop, all to themselves.
My luck faded quick as both my horses fell at the first hurdle. My mum was almost in tears because her horse collapsed and had to get shot but my dad"s horse was the horse that came first. His other one came fourth. It was safe to say that my dad had more luck than me, he enjoyed his ice-cream.
During the holidays I have been swimming, done a big clean on our caravan, had a sleepover with my friend, Amy, and not much else really. Although I do have a lot planned.
Over the holidays, my friends from Crewe in England are coming to stay at our house for four nights. We are going to Landmark, near Aviemore. I have been there once before and went sky-diving, did a red squirrel hunt, went up the kings tower and sat in a rubber boat and went to a huge slide and got my bum soaked but overall I am looking forward to visiting it again.
We are also going up to the town to show them the Abbey and the Glen. I can"t wait for them to come, we don"t see them very often. They have been to our house once before. This time my mum wants to have all Scottish dinners.
When our visitors have gone we are planning on going away in our caravan to Northumberland, I think we will need to for a break! I am quite excited as we have never been there before.
As it is lighter at night, I have been allowed out for a bit longer. Me and my friend Kara have been allowed to go out shopping and we sometimes go to a coffee shop for hot chocolate and cakes (my friend's mum secretly watches us from a distance – she thinks we don"t know but we don"t mind really). I like going to the shops without my mum, for obvious reasons!
That"s all folks!!
