REGARDING Alex Rowley’s recent revelation that there has been an application to build more accommodation for foreign workers, where is this foreign workforce situation going to end?

The workforce at Rosyth Dockyard are now heavily outnumbered by migrant ‘tradesmen’. Their supervisors/managers not only manage their own men, many locals are now under Polish supervision.

Some of these people have now been here for two or three years and are still agency employed. They tend not to integrate which makes them difficult to work alongside.

Surely Babcock should be doing more to employ British workers. In fact, where does this leave our school leavers with all these jobs filled with foreigners?

I am not, nor ever have been, racist, but I fear this is all going to end in tears. Too many of them for too long which can’t be good for our local unemployed.

Maybe it’s time someone took a serious look at the situation here!
