Hi, my name is Popsi.

I go to Pitreavie Primary and my interests are dancing, drama, Badminton and much more.

I am going to be writing a blog all about the life of an 11 year-old, of course when I"m 12 that will change but anyway! It will include some of the things that have happened to me on that week although some weeks I won"t have much to say.

I hope you enjoy reading!!

Ok I will start of with what happened last week; my class went to Ardroy, which is near Loch Lomond.

We started to prepare a month before the actual leaving day.

First of all mum and dad had to go to a meeting on Ardroy, which would hopefully answer all of their questions.

While some people were asking about snow, dorms showers and floods, my best friend was more worried about taking her hair dryer but of course she wasn"t allowed!

My mum and me had to go shopping for a lot of things! We had to remember nick nacks like a torch, spare batteries, lip salve and thick socks!! (Mum was terrified I would get too cold!)

Packing it all in the SMALL trolley case mum had bought me was the hardest thing though! I was so worried I wouldn"t get it all in on the day I was coming home.

In the end, my friend had to sit on my bag whilst I tried to zip it up!! As the time grew nearer I started to realise how much I would miss my family!!

But hey- I"m 11, I"ll get over it.

But that wasn"t the only thing I was worried about. I was also worried about the food, which I might not get over.

I am used to my mum"s home cooking and Sunday dinners- YUM! So I wasn"t sure what to expect but he ho the food was fab! Especially the breakfasts, as I had porridge every morning.

When we got there it was much, much smaller that I had imagined but the views were way beyond my imagination.

We started off with a nice long walk around the hills, beach and of course a tour of Ardroy.

The week flew by and was a blur, every day got better and better.

The main things I remember were, climbing up Jacobs ladder and reaching the top! Although I was in tears because I was so scared!!

Abseiling blindfolded and then having to sing head, shoulders, knees and toes- with the actions!

Though I felt scared I was determined to try every new aspect that I was given.

Climbing to the top of Mount Steeple that was 390 meters high!! And cutting down a tree called a cika spruce tree. That was also fun!!
