| Andrew Ramsey | I'm too young to have seen Billy Liddell Play, but both my Dad and Grandad used to watch him at Anfield. My Dad says he only saw him twice (he retired after he watched him only twice!) but he was my Grandads favorite player ever and he saw them all! so it sounds like he was a superb player. My whole family are LFC supporters and this goes back as far as we can trace it, it would be wonderful and just if the man's home town recognised him as much as he is revered down here. | ||
| Billy Chambers | Being too young to actually have seen Billy, I always remember my Nan and Grandad (mum wasnt interested and dad was an evertonian) telling me how I could do a lot worse than turn out like him. If todays players had a percentage of his humility, dedication and need I say talent, then they would all be better off for it. | ||
| Andrew Partridge | A great Man | ||
| Alan Doyle | If anyone deserves this, then Billy does ! | ||

| EDDIE DEAN | A player that has been passed on to us from our fathers so we can pass it on to our sons. Ledgends need to be recognised respectively so that do not become 'folk lore', myths, then eventually forgoten. A small price to pay when he gave us so many riches. | ||
| Bob Scott | |||
| Jim Cahill | One of the greatest players I ever saw. He was a true inspiration to the rest of the team. He played on the left wing and centre-forward - and I suspect he would have in any other position that Liverpool might ask him to play, if it helped LFC. No wonder we got the name of Liddell-pool! | ||
| Garry Frost | All too often great men don't get the recognition they so richly deserve, If you can't honour them whilst they are alive then to erect a statue in his honour would be a fantastic way to recognise the fantastic achievements that he made in his lifetime. We salute you Billy Liddel. RIP | ||
