"I have been a Pars fan since 1983 and without question last season was the worst performance of ANY Pars team I can remember. A team full of petted lip prima dona's who forgot that desire and passion are pre requisites of any teams survival. Never have I felt so detached from my team. There was a time at East End when we all felt that Dunfermline Athletic mattered, including the players, but last season there was a total absence of intrinsic community value and affiliation with our Football club. I heard terrace songs during games last season that I haven't heard for twenty years. While on the field of play were a bunch of parasites just simply playing out their contracts. I hated that feeling of my club being bled dry by so called professionals, some of whom had the nerve to suggest that they were leaving because of some belief that they were somehow still good enough for the SPL. So why were we struggling so much with such 'talent' at our disposal. The new signing have given me some hope however, player who know how to fight in the lower divisions know what s expected and are not scared to roll up their sleeves and help get this fantastic old club on the up slope again.rnrnCome Pars. And good luck to Jim and the boys this season.rnrn Good riddance to the wasters of last season.rnrnA Fyvie"
