DULOCH Juniors Yellows 2003s football team have scored with a new matchday kit from CR Smith.

The sponsorship was agreed under the firm’s CR Skills initiative which celebrates sporting values and in recognition of the club’s ethos for fair play and encouraging sporting friendship.

Duloch Juniors was set up in 2009 with a bag of footballs and heaps of enthusiasm to grow rapidly into one of West Fife’s largest football clubs. It recently acquired its Standard SFA Quality Mark and is fielding its first 11-a-side team in the Fife Football Development League this year.

Within the CR Skills programme, the 2003s team can now share its success more widely through a growing community of CR Smith staff, parents, coaches, sportsmen and women and young people who are proud of the sporting achievements of their sons, daughters, teams, friends and players.

Gareth McCluskey, head of marketing at CR Smith, said, “CR Skills has been set up to celebrate and encourage sport and sporting values and Duloch Juniors falls very firmly into that category. It provides a fantastic, safe and friendly environment where children can play football, learn about fitness and good behaviour towards team-mates and opponents. We’re delighted to demonstrate our support for the club and all that it is doing through our sponsorship of the Yellows 2003s.”

Duloch Juniors has 170 club members, aged from five to 12 and plays, four-a-side, five-a-side, seven-a-side and 11-a-side games.

Craig Park, club chairman, said, “Without the kind help and support from the likes of CR Smith clubs like ours would struggle. For that reason, we are delighted to have been selected as part of the CR Skills programme. It gives us all a real boost of pride in what we are doing.”
