Dunfermline’s Carnegie Judo Club also enjoyed a successful competition, with Jamie Horn winning all four of his contests to take the boys’ pre-cadet under-50kg title in impressive style. There was also another medal for the consistent Caitlin Arnold, who won three of her four fights in her first outing in the under-63kg class.

Other West Fife fighters were competing further afield, with four Destination Judo cadets (under-18) representing Judo Scotland in the Venray International tournament in Holland.
