SOME of the biggest names in darts will step up to the oche for a top-class exhibition of the sport in Dunfermline next year.
Multiple world champion Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor is one of the star attractions who will entertain fans of the arrows at the Glen Pavilion as the annual Fife Masters event rolls back into town on Friday, March 10.
The show, organised by Fife Sporting Promotions and Scottish Darts Exhibitions, has been described as a world champion edition as joining Taylor on stage will be Adrian Lewis, Dennis Priestley and John Lowe.
World number four Taylor has won a record 16 world titles, 14 of which have been PDC championships, throughout his career which has yielded an unprecedented 84 major titles.
One of his great rivals, veteran thrower Priestley, defeated ‘The Power’ in the first PDC World Championship in 1994 having also won the BDO crown at the Lakeside during his first appearance in the main draw three years earlier.
Two-time PDC champion ‘Jackpot’ Lewis – this year’s runner-up to Gary Anderson – and triple BDO champion Lowe complete the quartet for this year’s event, which follows the appearances of Anderson, Michael Van Gerwen and Raymond Van Barneveld in Dunfermline last year.
