KALLUM HIGGINBOTHAM has become the second player in as many days to agree a new contract with the Pars for next season.
The 27-year-old has this morning followed Callum Morris, who signed a one-year deal yesterday, in putting pen to paper on fresh terms to extend his stay with the club until the end of next season.

Higginbotham joined Athletic in July after leaving Kilmarnock and quickly established himself as a regular in Allan Johnston's team, making 43 appearances during the season, scoring seven goals.
His all-action displays ensured he became a firm favourite of the East End faithful and his decision to stay means Johnston has so far secured four of his out-of-contract players on new deals; Higginbotham, Morris, Lee Ashcroft and Nat Wedderburn.
