IT'S Cup final weekend both sides of the border and Celtic could go through the domestic campaign unbeaten when they face rivals Aberdeen at Hampden Park on Saturday (live on BBC Scotland, 3pm kick-off).

The Bhoys are no bigger than 3/10 (Bet365) to complete this incredible feat, while the Dons are 11/4 to thwart them. Celtic are a best price 8/13 (Hills) to see off their opponents in 90 minutes, a draw is 10/3 (Boylesports), while Aberdeen are 5/1 (Paddy Power).

There are several other markets to consider, including total goals, handicaps and first goalscorer. Over 2.5 goals (90 minutes only) is 5/8 (Bet365) and under 2.5 11/8 (Betbright). Celtic on a -1 handicap are 8/5 (Ladbrokes/Coral), Aberdeen are 7/5 (Bet365) and the tie 11/4. Inevitably, the first goalscorer market is headed by Celtic players; Moussa Dembele is 7/2, Leigh Griffiths 15/4, Scott Sinclair 4/1 and Michael Johnston 5/1. Adam Rooney at 13/2, Jayden Stockley 9/1 and Niall McGinn 12/1 are the leading Aberdeen players. Celtic are unlikely to let up now and the 8/5 they cover the -1 handicap appears charitable.

Prediction: Celtic 3 Aberdeen 0.

The English version is an all-London affair at Wembley (BBC1, 5.30pm). Chelsea are 4/9 (Skybet) to emerge triumphant, with Arsenal 21/10 (Boylesports). The 90-minute betting has Chelsea at 4/5, a draw 14/5 and Arsenal 4/1; total goals are under 2.5 11/10 (Paddy Power) and over 2.5 4/5. The Pensioners are 2/1 to cover a -1 handicap, the Gunners 23/20 (Bet365) and a tie 11/4.

This is not a game that makes a great deal of appeal but the Blues can edge it.

Prediction: Chelsea 1 Arsenal 0.

Domestically, there is one important tie to be played before the season is completed, the final spot for the Premiership. The layers see the Dundee United and Hamilton showdown as a tight battle; the Terrors are 4/5 (Skybet) to seal promotion while the Accies are evens (Coral/Ladbrokes) to maintain their top flight status. The first leg takes place tonight (Thursday, 7.45pm kick-off) and Dundee United are 5/4 (Betvictor) to build up an advantage, a draw is 23/10 and Hamilton 12/5.

The second tennis Grand Slam of the season at Roland Garros starts next week. Rafael Nadal’s injury woes now appear to be behind him and he is odds on at 10/11 (Betway) to capture the French Open crown. Novak Djokovic is 10/3, Dominic Thiem 10/1, Andy Murray and Stan Warwinka are both at 14/1, Alexander Zverev 18/1 and then it is 50/1 bar.

Simona Halep is the favourite to lift the ladies’ title at 7/2, Elina Svitolina is 9/1, Garbine Murguruza 11/1, Kristina Mladenovic 16/1, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Angelique Kerber 18/1, Karolina Pliskova 20/1, while Johanna Konta is among a group of players available at 33/1. Most firms pay ½ odds 1,2 for each-way betting.
