A POTENTIAL final day group decider at Hearts awaits the Pars after the fixtures for the Betfred Cup group stage were confirmed this afternoon.
The draw for the opening stage of the tournament was made last Friday and pitched Athletic into Group B alongside the Premiership Jambos, League One East Fife and League Two duo Peterhead and Elgin City.
Dunfermline, who didn't make it past the group stage last season, open their campaign at home to Elgin City on Saturday July 15 before travelling to New Bayview to play East Fife three days later.
Peterhead then visit East End on July 22 before the Pars travel to Tynecastle seven days later, in a game which will be broadcast live on BT Sport.
