The Pars finished top of the group and qualified for the last 16 of the competition on Saturday by drawing 2-2 with Hearts at Tynecastle before going on to win the bonus point penalty shoot-out.
Goals from Joe Cardle and Declan McManus sealed Athletic's progression after a fine performance against the Jambos, who finished third behind Peterhead and were knocked out of the tournament.
Terrific turn. 👌

They are seeking a first win at Ibrox since 1972 and Dunfermline's last visit there in this competition ended in a 7-2 loss in 2011.
Although Callum Woods and Joe Cardle scored either side of half-time to pull Athletic back to a 3-2 deficit, Rangers went on to record a convincing win.
The full draw is as follows:
St Johnstone v Partick Thistle
Hibernian v Ayr United
Rangers v Pars
Ross County v Motherwell
Falkirk v Livingston
Hamilton Academical v Aberdeen
Celtic v Kilmarnock
Dundee v Dundee United.
The tie will be played on Wednesday August 9, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
