Smith and team-mate Stuart Morrison were involved with the national team earlier this month when Scotland took part in the International Tournament in Serbia.
The duo were unused substitutes in the 3-1 defeat to the hosts before they both started the next game.
That ended in a 3-3 draw with Ukraine, in which Smith bagged a brace, before they were both named on the bench for the final 2-2 draw with Montenegro.
Speaking to the Pars website after his exploits in Serbia, Smith said: "I felt I did well when I did play. If I can get in the next squad it will be another great achievement for me."

Park has picked 20 players for the French matches, the first of which takes place on Wednesday October 4 at Livingston's Tony Macaroni Arena.
The second game will be played behind closed doors two days later as Scotland gear up for the qualifying round of the European Championships in November, where they'll play Luxembourg, Armenia and the Czech Republic.
Congratulations to #DAFC striker @callumsmithy99 for another call up to the Scotland U19s squad. https://t.co/kZ73B94lKh
