THE Pars will travel to play Dundee United on the opening day of the 2018/19 Championship season.

Allan Johnston and his men will make their way to Tannadice on Saturday, August 4, eager to exact revenge after last season's play-off defeat.

They then welcome Ross County to East End Park the following week, Saturday August 11.

League One winners Ayr United host Dunfermline on Saturday, August 25.

Athletic will then play two home games in a row starting with Inverness on Saturday, September 1, and then Alloa on Saturday, September 15.

Falkirk will be looking for better results against the Pars this season after failing to beat them on league duty during the last campaign.

The rivals clash on Saturday, October 6, and again on Saturday, December 29.

The first game of 2019 will take place at East End Park as Johnston's side face Alloa on Saturday, January 5.

The final five games of the season starts with an away trip to Partick Thistle on Saturday, April 6.

They play Falkirk at home on Saturday, April 13, before going to Dumfries to face Queen of the South on Saturday, April 20.

Morton visit Dunfermline on Saturday, April 27.

The league season draws to a close with Inverness away on Saturday, May 4.
