THE Inverkeithing Competitive Amateur Swimmers (InCAS) have received a grant of £1,500.

Donated by the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust, InCAS welcomed Trustee and Sports Convener, Danny McArthur so he could learn all about the hardworking InCAS swimmers and watch them hone their skills.

InCAS are very grateful to the Trust for the grant, which will assist the club in qualifying two new volunteer coaches so that they can further expand their membership.

The funding has also provided a new laptop to run the swim time software.

Andrew Croxford, chair of Carnegie Dunfermline Trust, said: "The trust is very supportive of initiatives which encourage young people to improve their health and well-being.

"We hope that our grant award will help the InCAS to continue to offer a pathway to young people to progress with their swimming and also attract new members."

InCAS will celebrate its 50th Anniversary next year and receiving this funding will contribute to the ongoing success of the club and its swimmers.
