MORE than 300 P2-P3 pupils ran, hopped and jumped for glory during a fun indoor athletics festival at Carnegie Leisure Centre.
A total of 13 West Fife schools were represented at the event on March 24, which was organised by Dunfermline and West Fife Sports Council as part of a series of events in eight separate sports.
The athletics festival, held over two sessions, was supported by Active Schools Fife, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust and Pitreavie Amateur Athletics Club. Townhill and St Serf’s primary schools finished top of the class.
In the morning session, Townhill were joined in the top three by teams from Duloch and Kelty primary schools, while Milesmark and Bellyeoman finished second and third behind St Serf’s in the afternoon.
