PITREAVIE AAC hurdler Eilidh Child has been selected to race for Great Britain at next month's European Championships in Switzerland.
The 27-year-old British 400m hurdles champion is one of 74 athletes who will compete in Zurich from 12th-17th August, and will also compete in the 4x400m hurdles.
Child continued her preparations for the Commonwealth Games, which begin next Wednesday, with a resounding victory at the Sainsbury's Glasgow Grand Prix on Friday.
She clinched the win in a season's best time of 54.39 seconds, just 17 hundredths of a second outside her own Scottish national record.
