DUNFERMLINE Track and Field Club runner Jamie Bowie has been selected to compete for Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the European Indoor Athletics Championships next month.
The 25-year-old, who won a 400 metre bronze medal at the British Indoor Championships in Sheffield on 15th February, has been picked for the 4x400m relay alongside Jarryd Dunn, Rory Evans, Conrad Williams and Rabah Yousif for the event in Prague from 5th-8th March.
His selection and British championship success continues a successful 2015 so far for the track ace, who took the 400m title for Scotland at last month’s Sainsbury’s International Match in Glasgow, a third place in the Indoor Track and Field in Vienna and a second place in the Torun Indoors in Poland.
