KELTY HEARTS have landed what could be the tie of the round in the Scottish Junior Cup as a potential derby with Hill of Beath Hawthorn awaits.
The draw for the fourth round of the junior game's premier competition was made this afternoon and Thomas Courts' men, who are flying high at the top of Super League, will face their great rivals if the Haws can get past Kirriemuir.
Hill of Beath and Kirriemuir will attempt to play their third round tie again this weekend after the weather ensured it has been postponed twice, but whoever Kelty face, they will have home advantage on January 21.
The Jambos are bidding to reach their third final but have yet to win the tournament, finishing as runners-up most recently in 2007 when they lost to Linlithgow Rose at East End Park.
Hill of Beath have reached the final once and recorded their finest moment by bringing the trophy back to Keir's Park in 1990, beating Lesmahagow 1-0 at Rugby Park.
Kelty are rated as joint second favourites with McBookie.com to win the trophy as 6/1 shots with current holders Beith Juniors, with the bookies making Auchinleck Talbot their top tip to win the tournament.
