GORDON SHEDDEN will aim to keep his British Touring Car Championship title hopes alive as he gears up for round eight this afternoon.

The reigning champion and Knockhill business development manager endured a frustrating time on his home track, recording two ninth- and one fourth-place finish to sit 40 points behind championship leader Sam Tordoff.

The West Fifer scored a first and a second in the three races.
