Top club award for Dunfermline swimming club

CARNEGIE defeated 15 other swimming clubs from across Scotland to win the best club award at their winter meet at the weekend.
In addition, there were five best swimmer awards for Aimee Adam and Euan McElwee (aged 10-11 boys and girls), Ellie Brisbane and Mark Szaranek (aged 12-13 boys and girls) and Eloise Barber (aged 16 and over girls).
Other swimmers having a very good weekend in the water were Shannon Clark (third in the 12-13 girls" competition), Blaine Small and Kathryn Johnstone (second in the 14-15 and 16-and-over girls" competition), Jack Szarenak and Fraser Reid (second and third in the 10-11 boys" competition) and Lewis Kirby and Blair Hershaw (second and third in the 12-13 boys" competition).
Almost 50 Carnegie swimmers competed at Glenrothes, winning more than 100 medals between them.
