Two new records for Queen Anne swimmer Ailsa

QUEEN ANNE High School"s Ailsa Hershaw (pictured) won three gold medals and achieved two Fife records at the Fife Swimming Gala.

Two records and two golds came in the 100 and 200 metres backcrawl. She also won another gold in butterfly.

Ellie Brisbane and Sarah Chalmers also broke Fife records in the back crawl and front crawl in the process of winning gold medals.

Keiran Watson and Shannon Clark were Fife champions in breaststroke.

Duncan Chalmers and Andrew Woodall were Fife champions in front crawl. Ruth Laird was second and Sarah Heath was third.

Zach Thomson was runner-up in the individual medley with brothers Miles Hershaw champion and Blair Hershaw runner-up.

Queen Anne finished third best school in Fife.
