DUNFERMLINE KNIGHTS Cricket Club will take on the Scottish Saltires in a friendly match at McKane Park on 6th June.
The Grange-based Saltires are understood to be bringing a strong squad over to Fife for the Twenty20 match, which gets under way at 5.30pm.
The Saltires played the West Fifers last year as part of the Dunfermline club"s 150th anniversary celebrations and were winners by around 40 runs, something Knights player coach Steve Fryer is keen to address this time round.
'It would be great to get as many people down for the game as possible,' he told Press Sport.
'Both teams will be wearing their colours, we"ll be using a white ball and it should be a pretty good night out if the weather"s nice.
'The more games we play, the better we get and while the Twenty20 format is a lot of fun for the spectators, from a coach"s point of view it helps build brilliant game sense.'
The club is offering a hospitality package for the game from £25 per person which includes wine and a buffet.
