Dunfermline duo aid Scots victory

DUNFERMLINE Ladies Hockey Club duo Brigette McNeish and Sheila Duncan helped the Scottish over-45s veterans team to victory at Peffermill recently in the international veterans" hockey championship.
The pair helped Scotland beat the Welsh 8-0, with Duncan scoring a goal, while England were beaten 2-0. The Scots didn"t concede a goal across an excellent weekend as they beat the Welsh again, 1-0, and drew 0-0 with the English in two shortened friendlies.
Duncan told Press Sport, 'It was great playing with some quality ex-Scottish players and Olympians and it was a proud moment for us both playing in all the games, especially as it is the club"s centenary year.'
