Pars defender Calum Woods will be eligible to line-up in tonight's (Tuesday) Fife derby against Raith Rovers after the club were successful with their red card appeal.
Woods was sent off during Saturday's 3-1 win over Queen of the South.
The defender, who put the Pars 2-0 ahead, was ordered off by referee Steven Nicholls late on for a challenge on Queens substitute David Weatherston.
The SFA appeals panel found in Dunfermline's favour and Woods will now have the red card rescinded.
Pars chairman John Yorkston told Press Sport, "The appeal has been upheld and there is a review panel meeting on Friday to see if he's getting a yellow card, or if it's been totally written off, but whatever happens he's been let off with the red."
