ENERGETIC kids at Canmore Primary School saw their enthusiasm rewarded at a sports festival.
The primary six classes visited Pitreavie Athletics Centre to take part in a Sky Sports and Sport Inspired led community games programme and received the 'Team Spirit Award' winners trophy.
The community games initiative is a multi-sport event where local sports clubs and volunteers come together to showcase a variety of sports, ranging from football to karate, and inspire young people to join sports clubs.
Sixteen teams took part in the all-day event, where they competed against each other with prizes for the team with the largest number of points.
Canmore's headteacher,Mrs Fraser, said, "We were delighted to be presented with a magnificent trophy as 'Team Spirit Award Winners 2014'.
"This event hosted 16 teams and we are thrilled that our team - 'Canmore Commonwealth' - was the winning team out of 16 teams entered."
