DUNFERMLINE born bowler Billy Allan has made a flying start to the Commonwealth Games by helping Scotland to victory in their opening match today (Monday).
The Cowdenbeath Bowling Club member is competing in the para-sport B6/B7/B8 Open Triples event and teamed up with Kevin Wallace and Michael Simpson to defeat Malaysia 25-6.
The Scots face Wales tomorrow morning (Tuesday) in their second match before taking on England in their final group game in the afternoon as they look to secure a semi-final place.
