DUNFERMLINE fighter Gordon Brennan will defend his British Boxing (BBU) Light-Heavyweight title in his final bout as top level semi-professional boxing returns to the Alhambra.

After the success of the inaugural event last year, SK Boxing Promotions are returning to Dunfermline on Saturday 8th November with 'Raging Bull Fight Night Two' that will see a packed bill of top names taking to the ring.

Trench Boxing Club's Brennan will headline the evening as he attempts to thrill his home crowd for the second successive year before bowing out of the ring as a winner.

Last year he defeated David King and the hugely successful show was the biggest ever semi-professional boxing event to be held in Scotland.

The event saw more West Fife success as Rosyth's Vikki Fairweather, also of Trench Boxing Club and trained by Brennan, stormed to victory in the Amateur Female Lightweight contest against Glasgow's Sheena Walker in what was her competitive boxing debut.

Next month's headline contest will be supported by 12 others featuring boxers from throughout the UK.

The main support involves Glasgow's Marc Kerr defending his British Super-Middleweight title against world class kick-boxer Ryan Lyall, who trains in Dunfermline.

This is Kerr's last contest before turning professional and he will face one of his sternest tests to date in Lyall, who holds a formidable boxing record in addition to his kick-boxing credentials.

Tickets for the event are in high demand, with the ringside and Royal Box seats already sold out. Tiered seating areas remain available, priced at £25, from the Alhambra Theatre Box Office by calling 01383 740384 or online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk. The doors for the event open at 7pm.
