The schools were divided into four pools of up to 10 teams, playing eight games on the day. The emphasis was on taking part and gaining experience and also having the opportunity to play hockey on a top-quality hockey pitch.
Ten children from Canmore got the opportunity to go to the tournament, while youngsters from Donibristle Primary School also represented West Fife after winning the recent Dunfermline and West Fife Sports Council annual outdoor hockey festival.
The children had a super experience and received a certificate, T-shirt, keyring, stress ball and a pencil case from Scottish Hockey.
Canmore teacher Thania Wehmeyer said, “The kids were fantastic and a real credit to Canmore Primary School and Fife.”
