MARK DOBSON has named his squad for Dunfermline Rugby Club’s last home game of the season.

His side welcome Aberdeen Wanderers to McKane Park on Saturday eager to exact revenge after they lost on the road to Wanderers 36-19 in October.

Dobson said: “That defeat was the real catalyst that has sparked our four-match winning run.

“We were outplayed and under-par against Aberdeen.

“We’ve put in a lot of work since then and the guys have trained hard. I’m very proud of them and we’re looking to finish the season strongly.

“We want to knock them off on Saturday before three away games to end the season.”

His men travel to Harris Academy and Alloa before the “grand finale” against title favourites Caithness on April 21, who have lost just once this season.

Dobson added: “We could still finish either third or fourth this season.

“I’m very proud of how open-minded the boys have been since I came in.

“We didn’t put much of a target in place as to where we’d like to finish.

“We just wanted to understand the squad’s strengths and weaknesses and build from there.

“We have strong ambitions for next season but we need to focus on our remaining fixtures first.”

The squad for this week’s match:

1 Arran Hain, 2 Craig Mckenzie (capt), 3 Martin Punter, 4 Lliam Quarm, 5 Angus Thomson, 6 Fraser Cowe, 7 Thomas Murray, 8 Clarke Smith, 9 Owen Bright, 10 Scott Gracie, 11 Graeme Low, 12 Adam Fraser, 13 Jordi Catto, 14 Calum Allardice, 15 David Lovelock, 16 Darren Donaldson, 17 Cameron Dunn, 18 Matthew Lloyd, 19 Connor Smilie.
